Safe online payments for recipe buyers and sellers

Use the official checkout

A buyer should begin payment from the CulinaryMix recipe, plan or promotion flow and confirm the provider window displays the expected item and amount. A seller should never ask a customer to send money to a personal account to unlock marketplace content.

CulinaryMix and legitimate support staff do not need a customer’s OTP, UPI PIN, CVV, complete card number or remote access to a device.

Handle pending and failed payments

If checkout closes or reports an error, first check the bank or UPI status. A pending debit may be reversed automatically. Repeated immediate attempts can create confusion or duplicate authorisations, so wait for a final status before paying again.

When money remains deducted but access is missing, use the contact page with the safe provider reference, approximate time and item name. Do not send sensitive credentials in a screenshot.

Protect seller payouts

Seller payout onboarding should occur through the official linked-account process. The beneficiary name, bank account and identity information must match the provider’s rules. A brand name should be used only when the account is legally registered in that name.

Verification holds, refunds, disputes and bank holidays can delay transfer timing. Real seller earnings should come from verified marketplace transactions rather than manually invented dashboard values.

Understand subscriptions and promotion

Before approving a recurring subscription, confirm the plan name, billing period and amount. Cancelling future renewal does not necessarily refund an active period.

A promotion draft is not an active campaign. External Google or Meta advertising should use the seller’s own authorised account and billing. Never give a social-media password to a marketplace or campaign consultant.

Recognise warning signs

Urgency, secrecy and requests to bypass official systems are common scam signals. Stop when someone promises guaranteed sales, asks to install a screen-sharing application, demands a payment to release a refund or says an OTP is required to receive money.
